Devon County Cup Round 1

Well, done today boys, another good win under our belt. The shape and efforts to close, win the ball and keep passing breaking the lines was excellent. Really good to see how we keep our heads, focus and go again even when Axminster picked up a few goals. A little tighter through the middle and at the back on those long balls and we are looking much stronger than week one.
Excellent performances from all over the park and another fine game from Will, excellent work and effort from Lucas, Strong in midfield to keep hunting and closing from Ben and Phoenix and some good work from Aidan, James, James S & Dan today. Excellent performance from Sam to keep closing and run things from the front and to pick up 2 goals.
Goals from Finn(3), Will(1) & Sam(2) secured our route into round 2. Well done boys!
All in all, very pleased with our performance and plenty to take into Brixington next week. Today's man of the match again could go to so many but for his 3 goals, Finn. Well, done Finn.
